review 1: A pretty good psychological thriller that I didn't predict the ending on (I had a different twist as my guess...) My enjoyment might have been hampered a bit by reading two "fatal attraction"-like books back to back, but this one just didn't hook me. I couldn't root for the hero, as he kept making stupid decisions and didn't have much depth. The other characters were just kind of there. Nothing WRONG with the book, I just couldn't really get excited about it and was ready for it to wrap up a little earlier than it did.
review 2: 2.5? I liked it a lot and then it sort of diminished itself. A huge problem is the main character, Andrew, is a self centered ass. I got over that because it got very suspenseful at the end, I had all these wild theories and then I was ... morelike what??? It didn't fit. I was waiting for all the crazy to come together, it didn't and it got lame. Also a large part of the beginning of the book is dedicated to Andrew and Charlie shagging. I get it already! Ok, maybe a 2. less
