review 1: I think a lot of people would enjoy this book. It was a very quick read for me. I finished it in a few hours over the course of two nights. My only criticism is that I think the story would have been better served if the characters had been more fleshed out. I never felt like I really knew any of them. In other words, none of them were sharply defined. I think it's important to grab the reader where they feel engaged and caught up in the dread of what is happening/what will happen next. I was never bored and the story was interesting but I just didn't feel deeply connnected so I did not feel anxiety or dread as more developments occurred.
review 2: Well I read this in a day (although I was on holiday). It was the perfect holiday read. It is a story about
... more living in hell, even though you have found your perfect home and life, why? Because of your neighbours. These are not just any run of the mill annoying neighbours though, these are subtly sinister, ruin your life kind of neighbours. The book does have you second guessing the perpetrators, and will have you squirming with frustration for the poor young couple being victimised! But will they get their happy ending? I guess you will have to read and find out! less
