review 1: I am not and have never been into Teague's art style. But having told many a fractured version of "Three Little Pigs" to my daughters and at story times at the library, I really like his slightly fractured version of the story. It's aimed more at older preschoolers and kindergarteners who will be familiar with other versions of this tale, but the gentle telling and happy ending might also make this work with 2 and 3 year olds.
review 2: Since their farmer has decided to up and move to Florida, the three pigs are left with severance pay. The first pig spends his money on potato chips and then creates a cheap house out of straw. The second pig wastes his money on sody-pop and then makes a cheap home out of sticks. The third pig spends her money wisely on mortar a... morend bricks for her home. A very hungry wolf comes to town and destroys the brothers homes with all his huffing and puffing. The three pigs and the wolf then find a way to live together peacefully and even more healthy! less
