review 1: I am loving Nick and his POV. I am not so sure I am feeling things between him and Harker, but that's ok since they are not strictly monogamous. Daniel seems to be Nick's kryptonite. But kryptonite or no, nothing keeps Nick from a good man-love opportunity. While Nick had success cracking a case and rekindling things with Daniel, I sense a dark cloud looming over Boystown with Harker falling ill. I have a feeling that I will be binge reading Boystown all weekend.
review 2: An excellent continuation to the life of the private detective Nick Nowak. Even though book consists of three mysteries they are very nicely interlined, very well thought out and masterfully solved. We get a glimpse of Nick in a relationship, or him trying to be in one, with his new boyf
... moreriend; Nick having a crush on one of the porn stars (in my opinion, the hottest 70 pages that had ever being written by a man writer) and Nick meeting his past lover Daniel again after two years ( flustered Nick is just adorable). All three are very different sides of the same man. A man who is still lost, but finally tries to find a way from his guilt and pain driven past, a man who is a loyal friend, a man who is excellent at his job, a man who finally thinks that he got love back in his life. To only see it slipping from him again. less
