review 1: This was book 2 of the series "Trouble in Texas". I had forgotten I read book 1 until I started reading book 2. It continues Glynna and her two children coming to live in Broken Wheel and Dr. Dare Riker and his friends coming to help them move into town. A series of accidents keeping happening to try and kill Dare but who is doing it? Could it be Glynna's son,Paul who threatened to kill Dare if he puts his hands on his Ma one more time? Or could it be someone else from the past? It was a good book especially if you liked the other one.
review 2: This is the 2nd book of the Trouble in Texas Trilogy. It follows Swept Away and is a great continuing story of four men who were Regulators together in the Southern Andersonville prisoner of war camp. Luke Stone, Dare R... moreiker, Vince Yates, and Jonas Cahill are closer than brothers. Their loyalty and friendship with each other is heartwarming. This story focuses on the doctor, Dare Riker, and includes both mystery and romance. If you enjoy Western Romance with some comedy mixed in, you will love this book. I’m looking forward to starting the 3rd book! less
