review 1: This was such a good book! I loved how instead of a detective or someone solving a current case, it was a television show revisiting a cold case. Plus, there were additional mysteries woven into the main investigation. The main murderer was surprising, too. I suspected one person the whole time and I thought for sure I was right, but no... I was wrong. And it was super suspenseful! I could barely put the book down.
review 2: I like it a lot. The story line is unique. A producer of a show called "Under Suspicion" revisits cold cases using the actual participants, suspects, and locations of the cold case with the hopes of solving it by recreating it and hoping memories will surface that may help the case. What it seems to do is make the guilty party do irra... moretional things when they think their being discovered. As that happened in this cold case of a young woman on her way to a directors house with the hopes of s film career. She's found dead in a park and twenty years later her mother requests that her case be profiled on this show. This is co-written by Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke both who write great mysteries. Hope the next book in this series comes out soon. less
