review 1: Piper Donovan receives a Facebook friend request from someone she doesn't know. Somewhat hesitant, she decides to accept the request. Little does she know her new "friend" wants her life.The Friend is quick read with an abrupt ending. It appeared to be the opening chapters of a full novel, which I hope the author will continue in the future. It's more of a filler story while I'm waiting to read the next installment in the Piper Donovan series.
review 2: I'm not really sure what the point of this short story is. It was okay, but the ending was really abrupt. It's more like an excerpt of a book, rather than a short story.Splendor is envious of Piper and tries to be more like her. Splendor starts an account on Facebook to find out about Piper's life, and goe... mores everywhere she does. She takes it too far though at the end.I wish this had been longer, because it just ended out of nowhere. I was left wondering what happened to Splendor and Piper afterwards.I got this exchange for a review. less
