review 1: Hannah disappeared at age 16. Most of the town assumed she was dead. A young girl fleeing a terrible domestic abuse situation. 20 years later, she comes back to the town she once left. The town she vowed never to return to, to become the guardian of her 16 year old niece. Both her mom and sister are gone. But coming home brings back memories that Hannah has long shut the door on. This was a really good story. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
review 2: I LOVED THIS BOOK. That is the first thing I want to say right off the bat. Second is that i really liked how the story just jumped right into the story there wasnt any boring introductory chapters where you have to get to know the characters. You get to know them throughout the whole book.I bought this book simply because ... moreMy daughters name is Hanna and my dogs name is Benson. I felt like it was a sign however it ook me over a year to actually sit down and read the book. Throughout the book I had many predictions all of which turned out to be wrong. However the end made me tear up I loved it! I recommend this book to anyone. I could NOT put it down. I think it took me a little over 24 hours to finish it once i actually started it. less
