review 1: I wish we could give "half stars," because I think I'd have given this 3.5 stars. It was an interesting read about a fictitious department of the FBI called "BOFFO." The main character(s) were three "sisters" from someone who is affected by Multiple Personality Disorder. At first I didn't know that it was someone with MPD, and I couldn't figure out what kind of sci-fi/bodysnatching was going on.It was a different take on MPD in that it wasn't necessarily a "disorder" for the character.
review 2: Second book in this series follows the anything but typical FBI Agent Cadence Jones. Cadence’s multiple personalities—including her two “sisters”, Shiro and Adrienne, serve as an invaluable “talent” to the FBI. As a secret part of the FBI, BOFFO (Bureau ... moreof False Flag Ops) only hires operatives with psychological disorders with the theme of “hire a psycho to catch a psycho.” These books are crazy, interesting and funny. The author’s notes at the beginning are hilarious and assure us that mental health professionals agree that she does a good job portraying the disorders.Recommended by Chris less
