review 1: First I want to say how wonderful it was to read about a couple that in NOT in their teens or 20's. Then I want to say that I loved the book. The many facets of lives brought together for a wonderful HEA. Alex and Charlotte met at a museum charity and auction event. She had a past with one of the other people at the event, and Alex saved her from that past lover. Just goes to say you really can meet that person of your dreams anywhere.
review 2: I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this book. I greatly enjoyed some parts, and others I thought were kind of ridiculous including some of the dialogue. The ending was totally weird as well... Alex and Charlotte were having a serious discussion only for Charlotte to pull Alex out of her office and tell one of her ... moreco-workers that they were going upstairs to fuck, and the co-worker had no qualms about this. I just don't understand how you could go from that serious discussion and talking about being in love to announcing your plans to have sex, and that being the ending?! less
