review 1: Follows several members of Pussy Riot before and through their performance in the Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow, their arrest, trial, and incarceration. My favorite parts were the included portions of the members' speeches in trial, a look at the improvisational approach to planning the performances, and a glimpse into the joke of a justice system and corruption and abuse of the prison system in Russia.
review 2: Sometimes when you read biographies of people you admire for one reason or another, you find that they are simply people, and perhaps not the titans your imagination made of them. Maybe all good biographies do that. In reading this book, I found some of that phenomenon, but even more to respect about the members of Pussy Riot. What they exposed
