Dead But Not For Long
review 1: This is a great zombie story. It pulled me in early and didn't let up. Rich and vibrant characters are difficult to create, but Matthew and Lesa did a wonderful job. Intense and well choreographed action drove the storyline forward and the book was over before I knew it. The zombie genre has been overworked, but this little gem stayed true to the zombie spirit and is a very entertaining read. I love zombie stories and always will, keep on writing them. Great job, guys!
review 2: It was OK, probably a bit too long. A group of plague survivors gathers in a hospital, with a group of I've-seen-the-light converted bikers acting as security. There are lots of characters in the novel, not all of whom are followed adequately. In fact, some just drop off the map (e.g
... more., Chuck). There are some good moments, both on the humor and horror front. Was a good change of pace for me; I just wish it had ended more quickly. less
