review 1: I don't really even know what to say about this book...2 stars is being really generous. I'm going to try to give this review without spoilers...I never understood any of the main character's (Jenna's) actions, or her attraction to and relationship with Keiffer. Keiffer is flat out mean to her in the beginning of the book, and not long after, Jenna states that Keiffer "respects her". Huh? If that is a man respecting a woman, then I weep for the future.There were many inconsistencies in story plot, not to mention all of the typos. I'm ok with typos...mostly. My brain just fills in the blanks for what word was supposed to be there. But I'm not ok with the story not making sense chronologically, or the author forgetting that she told us something, and then she forgot she t... moreold us, and then put it in as a "surprise" for Jenna later. It's written from Jenna's viewpoint, so if we know, it's because Jenna knows. Right?None of the characters in the book actually behaved like anybody I know in real life. I mean I know that a book is not real life, however I enjoy reading to escape into another world. And I really hated this world. It didn't make sense most of the time and halfway through the book, I just kept reading so I would know how it ends. And I'm sort of pissed that I did, because the ending was really terrible and didn't make sense to me either.Overall, I gave it 2 stars because the overall story plot was decent, even if the writing wasn't great. And I did cry for these characters, proving I was at least somewhat emotionally invested in them. Now I want to forget about them, and I hope I never think about them again.
review 2: First of all... Goodreads really needs half stars!! I would have rate this book 3 1/2, but I always round up unless the book really isn't that good... So... I am not really sure what to say. I did like the storyline, it took a little while for me to get into it, but I stuck it out and found that it wasn't too bad. Of course me being the emotional wreck I usually am, I needed a box of tissues for the last 1/4 of it less
