review 1: It's no wonder this one is sitting on "Why I read this?" shelfI knew I just need to abandon this kind of book, but the author keep on popping on Goodreads and I decided to give it a try. The first half was witty and funny, when Arden had disaster dates but then, when Shane came and his line was "I was thinking about you all this while"?? I couldn't comprehend it. The relationship seemed shallow enough for mutual feelings to develop.
review 2: This story was a sweet read, but I was only able to enjoy it at the last part when Arden and Shane finally came face to face. Although, at first they were communicating via e-mail even indulged at some point on cyber-sex, but I guess reality sex still more scrumptious than a thousand orgasms of cyber-sexing!And what’s en
... moredearing about this story was the way Shane won over Arden’s daughters and that for the first time in his life he really wanted to settle down and start a family of his own. Although I gathered from their previous relationship 12 years ago, Shane was the type who didn’t really believe in being serious. Because he never gotten around to the point of marrying anybody. He’s still single and more scrumptious than ever. Which I thought was really the reason why he told Arden he’s not really happy. I guess he felt that something was missing from his life. Or I had a feeling he fell in love with Arden all those years ago, he was brokenhearted when she got married. And now she was free, he persistently pursued her! less
