review 1: 3-1/2 starsIt took me a while to be able to write this review. Not much happens for about half of the book. She travels and hooks up, fights with her son and a few arguments with her ex husband and that's it. The beginning was dragging and really slow to me and I couldn't connect with the characters or get into the story but still wanted to finish it because nothing annoys me more than not being able to finish a book even if I can't get into it.I'm glad I kept reading. As dragging as the first half of the book was I got sucked into the second part when she meets him and things start picking up and happening. Once I got over the first half I could connect with the characters and the sex scenes were more believable and more intimate. Looking back on it, I can get why the fir... morest part seemed so impersonnal. She had no feelings with the guys she hooked up with and you could tell by the writing. I'm glad this changed and got better and really enjoyed the second half.It bums me out that I had to wait half of the book for things to pick up but overall this was a great book. It was more of an emotional/deep read than really all about an erotic book. Shows how love can both bring people close and tear them appart but in the end what's meant to happen happens. Beautiful story and great concept.
review 2: I don't usually write reviews. However, I feel it is my duty to warn people of this horrible book. I had a hard time connecting with the character I felt she complained a lot and was overall boring. The writing style was very difficult in the third person it only compounded the feeling that I could not connect with this book. Sure it has some racy scenes but I would much rather read on Dublin street or shades of grey if that's what you are looking for. I know that for Megan Heart fans this review will shatter your heart but let's face it she missed the mark on this one. less

This was a well enough written book but I saw the ending coming entirely too soon.
