Finding My Way
review 1: 4 1/2 REAL HONEST TO GOODNESS RELATABLE STARS! This book was wonderful! I couldn't put it down! I love that it felt relatable and real. Nothing in the story felt forced from the relationships to the working environment. I think a lot of people will be able to relate to this book and will enjoy it. Not convinced? There are two, I repeat TWO hot, sexy, perfect men......WITH AUSTRALIAN ACCENTS!!!!!! Enough said, I'm sold :) I loved the character development and I felt like I was falling for the guys right along with Emma. I do feel like I need to warn you that if you are American the writing style and word choices threw me but I went with the flow and am SO glad that I read this book. ~Leslie
review 2: I was a little late to the game picking up Finding My Way and
... moreI’m kicking myself for it now. What I loved about this book was how…relatable…it was. I FELT Emma. She’s a twenty-three year old who has made the difficult decision to end a long-term relationship. That’s never easy. What I love about Megan’s writing is how she was able to portray that just because you’re the one to end a relationship, doesn’t mean it hurts you any less.Having said that though, our girl Emma has options. Oh boy, does she have options. Deliciously, swoony options. The title fits this book perfectly as it focuses on three individuals who are trying to find their way. Readers are able to walk the journey with the characters and see them transform. Seeing their flaws and watching them struggle made me care about the characters. I felt like I knew them. I felt like I was friends with them. I felt like I could BE them. Again – totally relatable! Finding My Way is a BIG book, but you know how I could tell I absolutely loved it? I didn’t even notice. I was never skipping pages or setting it aside because it felt like “too much.” If anything, I became so sucked in by the story I immediately picked up the second. Finding My Way is such a heartfelt, 5 star-worthy read. less
