review 1: Started off very hot with the first encounter between Emily and Nat, as a business transaction. Then while the romance and feelings between them grew stronger I felt the story grew more and more unrealistic. Between Emily's sister and a client of Nat' s who just so happens to own a restaurant and offers Nat the chance to cook professionally, it just felt off for me. Seemed just a little too happy for me. Not that I don't like HEA...I just like a little more realism behind it. But this was a decent book overall. And for those who love sizzling lesbian sex scenes...those were quite well written. They were the best part of the book. Still a decent story, but it just didn't grab me.
review 2: This book...oh my...Hotter than hell and sweeter than chocolate.
... more If you're not a fan of lots of sex in a novel, this may not be for you. If you ARE a fan, you will love this. O'Brien handles the BDSM scenes quite well (and hotly), but doesn't skimp on the growing relationship. Her characters, as always, are real. No caricatures. I found myself caring what happened to them.Short review: read this. less
