review 1: I thought this was a pretty good book. It was certainly suspenseful and it did keep me guessing. But in some ways this book was frustrating. I think there might've been too many red-herrings along the way. I know there were a few times where I wanted to bash my head on the wall - if only to make it make sense. But I forged on. Ultimately, the main plot had a different and yet satisfying resolution. So all is forgiven.
review 2: Granted, this type of book is not in my usual reading collection. I wanted to like it as the premise of a missing child attracted me. The characters just did not ring true for me. The wordy descriptions of Molly's emotions would run smack into "holes" of missing information that, quite frankly, had me feeling annoyed that the ed
... moreitor had not noticed missing pages. Naturally,I quickly began to recognize this as the the author's style. Reading, becoming enthralled into a particular scene, only to be dropped into a hole of "what?" did not make me want to hug this book goodbye as I ended it. Only a wave... less
