review 1: Love it!!! I cannot wait for the sequel and it's coming soon on February 2! Please don't change the date!!! Aelyx cracks me up. His ignorance and love for Cara is just freaking adorable. As he was 'trying' to set up Christmas for Cara just cracked me up. I'm super excited for the next book. I don't even mind if there will be a love triangle with Jaxen, because he is a fun character and Cara is bold and straight forward with her love that there is no doubt about her feelings for Aelyx. I'm definitely not worried about her feeling anything for Jaxen, but he will definitely be there for my entertainment. February, get here faster~^^
review 2: Until Midnight was a short story that bridges the time between Alienated, the first book in the Alienated series, and Invad... moreed, book two. Aelyx and Cara have twenty-four hours until he is sent back to Earth and Cara travels on to L’eihr. To make that special night special, Aelyx sets up a Christmas celebration for Cara.Until Midnight was deliciously adorable. I loved seeing Aelyx and Cara together. It was extremely sweet to see Aelyx trying to recreate the Earth-holiday to make Cara happy. It was also just the right dose of them to tide me over until book two! I though it set a good stage to get Invaded off to a great start. It made me a lot more excited to see more of them, especially with the four chapter preview of Invaded.Until Midnight was a cute Christmasy read that was just nice enough touch for Aelyx and Cara that has me pining for book two. And the best part? This short is free! So pick it up while you can and enjoy the Christmasy cuteness. less
