review 1: As I began this book, I thought the story line sounded fun. A famous person forced to find a pretend husband to keep her ratings and show! Yet, she has a Christian background. The lie would eventually get to her, wouldn't it? As the story unfolds she begins to fall for someone else! And he begins to fall for her! But she's married, right? I kept envisioning this story as a perfect storyline for a movie on Hallmark. I loved it! It was an easy read, yet the journey all the characters took was brilliant! It wasn't just about a TV show anymore. It was about life and what was right. I found myself reading any chance I could with this book! I didn't want to put it down and I don't read outside the historical genre a lot. But, I will definitely be ready to read anything by Meliss... morea Tagg in the future!
review 2: This book is about three people who have things that haunt them from the past. They are each brought to the point where they are able to deal with the hard things. There are moments of laughter, dram and romance. There are twists and turns and of course what would a contemporary romance be without misunderstandings? It is an excellent debut work with a book two following one of the original characters to be released this spring. I look forward to finding out more about the back story to this character as it was left vague at the end.The character development had depth. The use of description e language was satisfying. I look forward to seeing more from this author. less
