review 1: Of all the steampunk novels before it, the Kraken King is my favorite of Ms. Meljean's offerings. I am so very glad I came across these after ALL of them were written, so I could tear through them all at once. They were deliciously wonderful and though complex, not as confusing as prior novels in the Iron Seas series. The overall length may seem daunting, but I never felt bored or disappointed. The romance level was on high, and Zenobia Fox did not disappoint as another strong and delightfully witty heroine. The Kraken King is sexy and vulnerable, a hero worthy of Ms. Fox.

... morend 3rd books out of the series but not enough for me to stop reading this. This book almost reminded me of a novella since it was so short. But It's nice to know that I can continue the story. The characters are great. They are more blunt that I've read and it's refreshing. less

I checked this out from the library and they only have part 1. So now I have to wait. Sigh.
