review 1: Pros: The main characters were fun, the reading was light and engaging, dragons and werewolves are hot.Cons: The archaic language was unnecessary and jumpy. The mother was annoying and after a while I just wanted her to go away and some of the dragons actions just didn't seems right (such as meeting in a cave they can't fit in, in human forms they don't regularly change into). While there were bits of the book that didn't quite sit right it was overall a pleasant read and an enjoyable addition to my collection of mell eights books.

... moren the unfolding of events and relationship building. I just loved the shifters, from dragon to wolf, and the sense of family amongst the dragons. Too often we have protagonists that are missing one or both parents, and Nyle had both, however distantly he might "pretend" the familial bond might be. That was delightful. I enjoyed this story and I'm looking forward to reading more in this series. less
