review 1: I loved this book from the first page to the last. The aunt/niece relationship between Rachel and Molly is beautiful.After Rachel gets a phone call telling her that her brother and sister-in-law were killed in a plane crash, she also finds out that she is not the guardian of Molly. So she takes Molly and travels to Holmes County, Ohio where Molly has Aunts, Uncles, a Grandmother, and cousins that she has never heard of before.What Rachel doesn’t expect to happen is Benjamin, Molly’s uncle, a handsome man her age who never joined the Amish.Willing to sacrifice anything to stay near Molly, Rachel even considers joining the Amish, but that idea is quickly put down by Benjamin.I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. It’s a wonderful book to read with a cup of hot ch... moreocolate or hot cider while cuddled under a blanket on the couch during the Christmas holidays.
review 2: I love reading books about Christmas and this one did not disappoint. This is my first book by the author and I took it out of the library because it was a Christmas book. The story line was great in that it brought in differences as the result of not updating one's will or pershaps it was intentional. Anyway it has adventure, love, adjustment, learning to respect others fellings and point of view and about taking a chance on a new thing. A one day read. less
