review 1: This one started off cute by having the two guys meet over the phone. But when they first meet it started to go downhill. Ryan and Dar meet for basically the first time, and they're on the verge of having sex when the one guys starts asking questions like where is this relationship going, what does this mean, I know you're in the closet but I'm not sneaking around for you etc. It was so ridiculous as they just met and it was pretty much unbelievable that men would act that way. But just like that, the next time they meet they're in this serious relationship and are instantly in love. Then at the end they had this big splashing coming out sort of ending. It was definitely high on the romantic cliche. The last actor I've heard who came out did so by having a ni... morece exclusive magazine interview. No Hollywood agent would have you give a press conference to come out--there's no money in it, while magazines pay tons for exclusives. I thought that part was so dumb I skimmed over it. It's not a terrible book, but so disappointing considering the sparkly start.
review 2: To the point the story is sweet. At first, its lil bit reminding me with tabloid star but ofc its not. The ending is predictable but satisfying enough. whatelse u need to read from m/m romance if not for HEA afterall. And definitly this type of cinderfellas story. I love see how natural relationship between Ryan & Dar. Like I said its sweet and cute. You don't need think too much when you read just to found something 'angst or hard plot' inside story. The plot is simple n well developed. And by the way, my favorite character is not Dar or Ryan, its Brett! God, I love him. He's so funny gay, its drives me crazy! Lol. Perhaps the next book(#celebrity 2) is Brett's story. If yes, then I can't wait to read it! less
