review 1: Reading about the Mossad for the first time (excluding watching the movie Munich, that is). Fantastic read and it was like a collection of spy stories. The daring acts of the Mossad team all through the years protecting the Jews interests in faraway lands, sometimes within their enemy territory is sheer brilliant and courageous! Certainly, am going to read more about Middle east and a bit more history to understand the conflicts better. Recommend reading this book, it is a page turner for sure.
review 2: Mossad has been and remains one of the foremost, reputed, dreaded and feared intelligence agencies in the world (depending on who you ask). The book covers some of the most lauded missions of Mossad (at least the ones known about in public domain). The book fo
... morellows a non chronological approach, at times structuring itself with the tenures of Mossad chiefs. The best thing about the book, if you ask me, is not the detailed accounts of the various missions, not even the effort undertaken to describe not just the mission not the decision making process behind them and the extensive preparation, but the fact that the book is not a hagiographical account of Mossad. It objectively analyses Mossad's missions, at times bringing to light the criticism Mossad faced for its handling of the missions.Read this book, if you are interested in the world of espionage, intelligence agencies and their missions, or if you are interested in Israel and the story of its people. less

Has the pace of a thriller novel. A good intro to Mossad's missions and their modus operandi.
