Today’s top five from Bionic Bookworm is the top 5 books on my 2018 bucket list!
Valley of the Dolls is high on my list. I actually had a bit of a hard time getting a a hold of a copy and then once I did, I couldn’t find time for it last year. So, it’s on my bookshelf and hoping to be read soon!
Children of Blood and Bone. When I first read about this new YA book last year I knew I had to have it. I got approved to do a review for Netgalley so I plan to start as soon as I work through a few other books that are being released before it.
The Cruel Prince. I’m a sucker for a good anti-hero and I have heard nothing but good things about this book!
Radium Girls. I actually first heard about this true story on the tv show 1000 Ways to Die, so was very intrigued when years later I heard of this book. Again, everything I’ve heard about this has been positive so I hope I can suggest it for book club this year.
Anything by Margaret Atwood. I finally read The Handmaid’s Tale last year and I know I need to read more; Alias Grace and Oryx and Crake are high on my list along with The Heart Goes Last and The Penelopiad. Fingers crossed that I can make it to at least one of those this year.
