review 1: Goodness gracious! What was that?? And why do I feel so weird?!? If David Lynch ever directed a movie for Disney, I guess the result would be the movie equivalent of this comic book: cute, candy-colored, beautiful, mysterious, surreal, enigmatic, fearless, subversive, dark, obsessive, merciless, disturbing, brutal, deranged, and more than a little painful. An artfully delivered punch in the gut - what more could you ask for?
