review 1: I found this to be a very interesting read. I had gotten book 2 as a Nook Friday download and thought I should start with the first book. Luckily the library had a copy and I picked it up. I found that as soon as I started reading that I was going to be intrigued and it would be a book I would finish. It was not a one sitting book, I just didn't log it in the day I started it. However, I would guess that some would find it a one sitting read.
review 2: I was intrigued about a novel depicting travel back to Jerusalem during the original Holy Week. While I enjoyed the overall book, I found the constant flashbacks extremely annoying. I would have put the book down about half-way through, but felt like I should finish it to see if the story would become more riveting. It didn't.
