review 1: 10/10: I have currently read 130 pages! This book is about Jeff. He is 15 and he cut himself in the stomach, and both wrists. He went to the hospital and go stitches and bandages all around his wrist and stomach. They moved him from a hospital to a psych ward. He met a doctor named Cat poop! Also he met a girl named Alice and Juliet and Sadie they all ether tried to kill someone or someone else.Alice broke down in insanity and Jeff made a friend named Sadie. Jeff sister Amanda came to visit him and her parents told her that Jeff cut him self opening a CD and bleed a lot. My favorite part of the story is " I was already imagining today's announcement. Today's lunch is spaghetti and meatballs and Jeff is in the nuthouse!" I thought that Quote was important... more because it tells the story and I thought it was funny. It relates to me because we always do announcements and they sometimes tell important things! I thought it was funny because I like the word "nuthouse"!10/27 I have currently finished the book with 295 pages. Suicide Notes is a great book. Anyone who likes Murder mysteries would Love this book. I thought it was great because it had a kid "Jeff" he tried to kill himself by cutting his arms and stomach. He almost died but his family saved him. They took him to a hospital and the hospital took him to a physiological ward. He must stay there for 45 days and he thinks he is going to go insane. He thinks everyone is crazy and he's not. Then he makes a great friend Sadie and they fall in love but they are not allowed to be together because the doctor's won't let them. But Jeff sneaks out into Sadie's room and they kiss but Jeff doesn't like her that much anymore so he pretends that a security officer is coming. And he leaves. Then the next night a new boy kid named Rankin comes into his room and starts kissing him. But the weird part is Jeff didn't care. So then they get caught and Rankin must leave.Sadie found out she killed herself. She had an overdose on drugs.she wrote a poem to Jeff about the 12 little psychoses just like the 12 little soldier boys.Jeff finds out that he likes boys not girls and he gets out of the hospital and lives happily ever after! I recommend this book. I think that anyone will like it.
review 2: I LOVED this book! The situation is described very cryptically on the back cover, so fair warning that despite the main character and narrator's comical tone, the plot is pretty serious and mature. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 14 or so, but it's a valuable book to read if you are a fan of the genre. The idea of teenage identity, perspective, and social endeavors are excessively evident and concluded throughout the story. The ending is resounding enough to be satisfying while remaining open-ended enough for a sequel or potential series. In my opinion, it's one of those stories that is best if you leave it alone without trying to extend the potential beyond the initial story, but it was good to be able to mentally explore options and situations for the plot and characters. less
