review 1: A must read series. I am so glad that I decided to open my book bub email a few weeks ago and that I decided to take a chance on this indie author and downloaded the first book of the series...From The Wreckage (for free). These three books have steadily gotten better and better. I loved every one of them. I so LOVED West...he is now one of my top five book boyfriends...and Jules, man she was amazing so strong yet fragile at the same time. Both characters were so well written. Plus I really enjoyed the cast of characters. Even the annoying mean girl ones. All I can say is give these books a chance. Give Michele G. Miller a chance and read her beautiful...sometimes flawed...many times tear jerking...yet always real...amazing story.
review 2: Loved the final inst... moreallment, All That Remains and don’t want to give any spoilers! I fell in love with the talents of Michele G. Miller. I've enjoyed many of her previous literary works. However, this series is above expectations and the proverbial bar has been raised. She has the talent to bring tears of joy, wrench your heart to the point tears puddle just under your eyes. One finds themselves strain to see the words without the blur because you can’t bring yourself to stop reading to reach for the tissues. In the next few minutes her readers will gasp and laugh out loud because the humor is so on target and breaks the emotional tension for her readers. The characters are written with the reader longing to “meet them” in real life, they almost seem like friends. In that, you cheer with their triumphs and your heart reaches for them in their sadness. This entire From “The Wreckage Series” will transport you into a book. Wow! If you only buy one series this year, I strongly recommend this one. I’m excited to still visit these established characters as I expect readers will be able to enjoy a “spin off series” with some of the secondary characters we've fallen in love with here. I’m just not ready to say goodbye to the characters in All That Remains. less
