review 1: I heard about this book on a reader's forum and decided to try it when I saw it on Kindle unlimited. The author chose a different style of narration where the characters speak conversationally to the reader. It threw me at first, but it worked. I enjoyed the story, romance, and characters very much. It's a light read in many ways, though I wouldn't classify it as "fluff". I'll definitely watch for more from the author and suspect I'll thoroughly enjoy what she writes in the future.
