review 1: Just because this book was free I want to give it five stars, but knowing people will soon be paying money based on these reviews I felt the need to be completely honest. I loved the character development, even in the short time span of the book. Their wasn't a lot of actual paranormal activity, it seemed to turn into a slightly paranormal soft porn. The premise of the book was enjoyable. My only real problem (other than not believing a 210 page novel should be considered anything other than a novella) was a few places where incorrect words were used; granted, the words were spelled correctly, it was just my instead of by and things like that.
review 2: Well, the main problem I had was that the digital copy I downloaded for free from Barnes & Noble was obviousl... morey missing a few chapters. It jumped from them talking in the book store to somehow being in her home. The writing and plot aren't great, but the author shows promise. I think if she reworked a few of the scenes and drew the story out into a full length novel, and perhaps a longer period of time (the characters bond for eternity after knowing each other for a week, most of which is spent in bed? Ugh.), it might be a good book and the start of a good series. As it is? Yeah, not so much... less
