review 1: I actually didn't want to read this book and thought of trading it for another one on my bookshelf a couple of times. Finally my lazy side won and it would be just a few pages before I fall asleep, right? Wrong! Onde I started reading I just couldn't stop. I stayed up half of the night untill I finished it.The characters are great and I fell in love with most of them. The plot is not anything unheard of but is really well written and you just get envolved with the story.'I could keep on going, but is fair to just say I just loved everything on this book.
review 2: "Bonkers" was the first of Holman's books that I read. By the time I read it she already had "Knotted and "Divine" under her belt as well, and I quickly read one after the other. There are a few reaso
... morens why I love this book; 1. The New Zealand aspects; 2. The writing; 3. It's not your average chick-lit.New Zealand writers often go forgotten. It's sad, but true. What I love about Holman is that she stays true to her roots. New Zealand is evident not only in the setting, but in the language used- words and phrases very close to home- but what's really great is how she combines these subtle, and not so subtle, New Zealand-esque components in her book with the witty and punchy writing style evident in all of her books. This combined with the unique story-line that “Bonkers” follows makes this not only a great read, but a great New Zealand read.Which brings me to my third point- It's not your average chick-lit. By this I mean chick-lit is usually so similar, and that's not to say that “Bonkers” does not follow the sam formula- there's love, lust, a feeling of “will they? won't they?, and everything else we come to expect from any chick-lit novel- but it's so much more than this! Everything I've mentioned combines together to create a funny, unique, witty and enjoyable book that's close to home.Putting it simply; I own all of Michelle Holman's books, and I read them all every 1-2 years. I love this books, and all her others, and so will you. less

Gostei muito da ideia central da história, e soube bem uma leitura leve.
