This is a novel about a twelve year old boy who’s babysitter is murdered by his uncle who is a doctor, later on you find out his reason for murdering her and his dark secrets that he has been hiding to keep his reputation up.
Suicide scene: spoiler! Uncle Frank is arrested and while he’s in the basement he uses broken glass from jars to slit his wrists and the family find him dead later on.
