review 1: I have been a huge fan of Michelle Hughes ever since I discovered the Tears of Crimson. So when I was asked to check this book out, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.Jessie was a girl after my own heart. She had been burned by a good man for, well, another man. I dont' blame her for settling down with wine and a stack of books! When the very outspoken and powerful women in her book club decided to put actions to words, she feels the need to go along.With the world revolving around hot men and a little bondage, the ladies decide to check out Sensations, a local BDSM club. Nothing is sexier than a hottie that welcomes you into his world.Chase. Dear God, this man is sin. I fell in love with him cause I desire a sexy alpha male. I love the fact that he looked behind the shynes... mores that held Jessie in thrall and took the time to help her discover the sensuality of being a woman in control. The fact is that a being a submissive is about power and Jessie has that in spades. She just doesn't know it till Chase helps her. There is something breathtaking alluring about discovering the simple pleasure of showing someone the beauty you see within them.Like I said, I am NEVER disappointed in a Michelle Hughes book and Romance Book Club was everything I wanted it to be and some yummy deliciousness I wasn't expecting!
review 2: 3.5 stars I liked it. Not as interesting as I think the 10 nights books are, but it kept my interest. I don't necessarily think it needed to be named "Romance Book Club" because the club kinda got put on the back burner after they met. It was also not mentioned until a quarter of the way through what the heroine looked like (and when it was it didn't even include her hair color until later). For me, that made it hard to visualize the characters. less
