review 1: Stop merely surviving and live...This is my second book in this series, and while it can be read as a standalone it felt like a continuation. The characters that I met in book one were also in book two in addition to new characters that were introduced. I liked that this one was a little sexier, more flirting and PDA between the characters. What I missed between Marcus & Avery during their story was included in this one. They are no longer holding back their feelings for each other or hiding them from others. I'm also enjoying the music industry details that are included in each book. And it's not just music and love, there is also mystery in suspense in each book. There has to be a villain, someone for us to dislike, secrets to be uncovered, right? And some of th... moreose mysteries haven't been solved, I'm hanging on a cliff, waiting to find out what happened. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
review 2: I was lucky enough to win this in a 'first reads' giveaway on Goodreads. Having read, and really enjoyed, Love Evolution, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen in the next installment! Michelle Mankin definitely does not disappoint with this second book in her series. While providing just a tiny bit more info on Marcus and Avery from the first book, this one focuses on relationships for JR (Brutal Strength's drummer) and rocker Chris Alex. Their love interests come in the form of Daniels sisters Sam and Sara - Sara a very successful country singer and Sam, an upcoming PR intern at Black Cat Records. The girls have a fairly tragic family history, which has consequences (particularly for Sara) for their personal relationships. The ups and downs in this book match those of the most extreme roller coaster - at times I egged on our girls, encouraging them to take that next step, at other times I shed a tear for the boys and girls as they tied themselves up in knots that they seemed like they'd never get out of. This book finishes with a little twist that has got me looking for book 3.As with Love Evolution, Love Revolution is well written, easy to read and I simply got lost in this gorgeous story. less

Not a huge fan of the two stories at once even though they did intertwine.
