review 1: This book was so fun and engaging! It was about a boy who steps on an elephant's foot, startles it and then gets seen by a tiger, then wakes a rhinoceros, and the plot simply continues with this child being chased by multiple animals. I love that it takes place in Africa and has many safari animals involved rather than normal animals you would find in America. The drawings showed so much emotion on the child's face as well as the animals face which is something kids reading this book would absolutely love. There is also a very funny twist at the end that kids would get a kick out of as well. I would highly recommend this book in a k-1 classroom due to the engaging storyline and bright colors it uses in its illustrations.

Some young readers might enjoy this title, but reading it aloud felt awkward at points. less
