Immortality Bites Mystery
review 1: Different tone in a way from the previous books. There's a refresher course in the beginning of the high points in Sarah's immortal life thus far in case you haven't read the other books, since it's billed as "first in a new series".It's a like a vampire-based cozy mystery with a bit more blood and guts, cause, uh, vampires, but it's nice since it's set in the same world and Sarah is the lead once again. Plus there's fun secondary characters and more Ring business and more from Thierry's past.Enjoyable read.
review 2: Sarah Dearly is frustrating as a heroine. She is impulsive, rushes headlong into situations that have you thinking "This is going to end badly", says what she thinks, and trusts all the wrong people. In short, she's warm, genuine, funny and totall
... morey without ulterior motives; exactly what Thierry needs in his life. Once I got over my cringing over her tenancy to stumble into every pothole of life she finds, I enjoyed this series. less

Not my favorite in the series, but it was fun. I like the new turn she's taking with these books.
