review 1: Ok - I usually devour the second book in a series because all the development has happened in the first and we can get to the down and dirty... I just didn't get that with this book. I did enjoy the story line but I kept feeling distracted by the lengthy recapping of book 1. Also - Sam is meant to be smart but takes so long to make connections I kept getting frustrated. Overall the story line was interesting and kept me reading until the end - hence 3stars.
review 2: The intrigue/plot was pretty good, but it was so predictable, cliche and obvious sometimes. The ending felt almost too good to be true for that kind of book. And the obvious choice of guy...sigh. Kraven's the hot guy helloooo!It was as if nothing had ever happened in the end and everyone was all su... morenshine, lollipops and rainbows. Ugh :PThe relation between the brothers were great and their past. The book feels like an improvement though. less
