review 1: So I thought I'd really enjoy this book, and I did, I just thought it was missing something. The writing style was rather basic and the plot twists i felt were a little generic. I could totally tell what was going to happen but it was still an interesting concept. I feel a bit of both happiness and annoyance with this book. I loved the themes and concepts but annoyed because it could have been so much better. But I'll give the next one a chance. 3/5.
review 2: This was an interesting concept. I enjoyed the book for the most part. I liked the idea that Angels and Demons have to work together to help save the city from a more dangerous threat. I liked the group of Angels and Demons you are introduced to. Bishop and Kraven were my favorites. Bishop is an ange... morel and Kraven is a demon and there is a shocking twist concerning these two characters. Samantha was an okay character. My biggest issue I had with Samantha was that you are told in the beginning that she is special and you are then reminded of that over and over again. The ending leaves you on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next book to find out more. less
