review 2: So this is one of those stories from the 18th century full of morals and under covered hate for minorities... the little gipsy girl that was more cleaver than any other gypsy girl of the bunch and was raised by her "grandma". There is this noble guy that fell in love with her and because of her request has to give up on his wealthy life and join the gypsies on their crusades of stealing people from town to town and being dishonest just like a gypsy can be (for christ sake). Oh, then he ends up killing a man because he dishonored him and gets sent to jail, until everybody recognizes he was after all a noble man so of course he doesn't have to die for killing another man because it was a honor business. Also turns out the very bright gypsy girl was never a gypsy! She was stolen by the woman she called grandma from a also wealthy and noble family and at the end of it everybody is noble and happy and deny all their gypsy background of misfortune. Seriously Cervantes? This story can still be called as "an ok book" because of his ability to captivate you because all the moral inside this book is based on prejudice. less
