review 1: I finished this earlier this month whilst I was on holiday. Whilst I realise this is really a Christmas book that doesn't matter to me I enjoy reading them at anytime of the year. As usual Milly didn't disappoint with her characters in this book. They were all likeable and amusing and I couldn't put this book down. I absolutely loved the newspaper misprints they made me laugh so much I had tears rolling down my face. It's an ideal holiday read whether that is Christmas or otherwise. Another good one Milly can't wait for the next now.
review 2: I'm not really impartial where Milly Johnson is concerned - I love her writing, the ease of style, the wonderful sense of humour. I thought this really was the most perfect Christmas book - sad and funny (the newspa... moreper misprints and apologies are quite excellent...), full of every Christmas cliche in Winterworld (the inherited Christmas theme park), a believable leading man, wonderful animals and characters new and familiar. A fantastic read, devoured in one magical sitting - for me, this was her best book yet. less
