review 1: I enjoyed reading the first book is the series but found it too short.I loved the idea of how Emily (the main character) has blackouts/seizures and goes into a parallel universe. In this universe she is chased by Misery Makers. She also meets other people that are not from her real world.I found many questions not answered like- who the hell are the Misery Makers?- what and where is this parallel universe?I gather that I have to read the next book to find out. Am looking forward to reading part two if it's similiar to this one.Will say again.....it's too short.
review 2: Not much happened in this volume and although I liked where things started to go I'm wondering what is the point? So little has been established in this series even though I'm curious I'm wonde... morering what will keep me reading further volumes. Right now pure curiosity and hope for a pick up is driving me. I have yet to connect with any character and most of them seem daft, dolts, shady or just unlikable. I do see potential in a few. And like I said, I'm so curious to know what drives both worlds. less
