review 1: Even though I've not enjoyed this one like the first,it was good. how they keep changing their names in both of them, I always like these. And adored their humor. Although in this case I got irritated by the name clun, probably it's because it is only his surname and reminded me something like clam..I don't like the name bess also. Little things like that. I would have appreciated if they progress a little bit faster,it was promising at the start from that point but than things moved to a snail's speed right after. But above all that, I absolutely fascinated with the story telling, how the writer choose to tell us,whether it's from the onlookers to some point or from the heroes themselves. definitely will read the third one if not for anything else, but because of the writ... moreing style and the humor too of course :)
review 2: Another very well done screwball Regency romance this time starring William, Baron Clun and his soon to be or not to wed betrothed, Lady Elizabeth. Much humor and clever dialogue and the Duke and Duchess of Ainsworth are on hand as well! I loved the first part of the book while she's living in the cottage, but it was a great epilogue too! This is proving to be a very entertaining series, can't wait for the next book to be completed! less
