review 1: I enjoyed this story. It was definitely hot and steamy in the first half. I agree with some of the other reviews that I was disappointed and confused because of the whole misunderstanding part of the book. That it could have been taking care of with one conversation and the characters had the opportunities to do so. But, I understood, I think, that the author was going for a jump to conclusion kind of situation and both characters being kind of hard headed. I think Sophie had her right to be angry because he was out with another woman doing the stuff we wouldn't typically do with a future sister-in-law. I also think Mark had good intentions but was just dumb about it. Plus, there is a love triangle with Sophie and her guy friend Caleb. All together, I loved it and couldn't... more put it down. Will be reading number 2!
review 2: Stars: 3Overall: Mark and his sister Molly have some of the best friends around. They have all known each other for almost all their lives and fast forward 10 years Molly is marrying Mark's best friend. Sophie dated this guy Shawn for over 6 years and she catches him in bed with his secretary and decided to keep living in LA and start over with new friends like Molly and Caleb. Last minute Molly asked Sophie if she could be in her wedding because a girl backed out and on her way to the dress fitting she literally runs into Mr. Tall, Dark & Handsome. There is intant chemistry and Mark just brushes it off because he's not a one woman kind of guy. They see each other again at the wedding pre party and again they are instantly attracted to each other, when they find out the whole wedding party is going to Jamaica for the weekend all bets are off. What starts out as something causal turns into something beyond what either had hoped or wanted. There is some bad drama that happens, but in the end it all seems to works itself out. Pros: The story was a good idea and I liked the time they spent in Jamaica being topless and having almost sex in the sea. The almost ending broke my heart a bit, but the very end was a happy moment that was a good way to bring Mark and Sophie closer together.Cons: This story was a good idea but it moved way to fast for me. One second they are hooking up for the weekend and the next Mark is telling Sophie that he loves her, I was just a little put off by that. Than add in Caleb and l was just confused and I wish there was more to the story go further explain the main characters. Characters: Mark & SophiePage Turner: YesSeries Cont: YesRecommend: Yes less
