review 1: The main reason I chose this book is because of the cover. After getting a sample it seemed like something I would be interested in reading. I'm glad I went with my gut. It was a very good book. It kind of reminded me of the movie Something New but their plots were different. I usually don't read books about interracial relationships if they involve race because I figure it's 2013 people should be over it even though in some cases that's not the case. However this was a different take on it. I wish the story was a bit longer and gave more detail to certain things. Like why she kept the secret of being attacked from everyone.
review 2: This was my first time reading a book by M.J. Kane and I loved it. This book was so different from other IR books. Most IR book
... mores make you think that the couple's relationship is fine and nobody has a problem seeing it. We live in the real world and no that that is not true. This author shows you the issues that the couples are really faced with. It may be complete strangers or even your friends and family that have a problem with it. I was glad that Ebony and Brian's love was able to overcome the obstacles. Now I'm ready to read book #2. less
