review 1: Esmeralda is still fighting against Nicholas, but now he is coming to her dreams. She starts to feel as if she has no escape from him. Everyone is concerned as she starts to decline. What point is it that it becomes too much. The love triangle has now become a square as Jarak's old love is one of the witch's that Es must bring back to life. She is overwhelmed with the loss of his friendship and there are traitors working for Nicholas deep in the side that is supposed to be against him.What would you sacrifice for someone you loved?What does it mean to be free?This book in the series is an emotional roller coaster. Es is fighting within herself between her feelings for Jarak and Ian. She's getting closer with her parents and trying to let people in. She will go through t... morehe almost loss and true loss of those she cares about. How much torment can someone go through? Be ready with the tissues and to have people giving you odd looks as Ian can be a comical character at times. This book is where we truly see the characters break out of their shell and see who they truly are. This book is good for ages teen and up. There are hints of sex, but no description, keeping it strictly YA.I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.

My poor girl Es, she was put through the ringer in this book too! People who she thought were her friends ended up betraying her horribly! When we left off on Wolf Spell she had awakened the 5 sleeping witches who would help her complete the Reaping Spell, she had found her parents, and she found her mate. I won't tell you who it was but OMG ITS GOOD! Now she has aligned herself with some people that you would think would be against her but, love does some crazy things to people.There is so much I wanna say but I won't give the book away.It's a great book and Es is a amazingly powerful character that I found myself cheering for. I'm wondering if this is it though? The last line left my imagination running!
