review 1: Energetic and noisy, Nadia Krilanovich has created a lively farm read aloud. The farm animals are all coming together for some mysterious purpose. Little ones who are learning their animal sounds will participate as the chickens, duck, goat, sheep and other farm animals gather together for a barn yard collaboration. There is much maa maaing and cluck clucking to be repeated. The last pages reveal a comical tower of animals organized by the quacking duck. Simple illustrations and brief text this is the ideal book for young ones to enjoy.
review 2: The pictures in this are so fun. They beg for storytime, but my skills aren't very great in how to read it. Some parts would be fabulous, but I don't think I could do this the justice it deserves. I think I'd be better... more at a lap-read. But definitely a fun book with great toddler potential. (By the way, if you don't think toddler the whole time with this book, you might think "what's so great about this?") less
