review 1: “You’re the weirdest damned vampire I’ve ever met.”Yup, that about sums it up. This is not your typical vampire story. If it wasn't for the fact that they keep calling her a vampire you would have no idea. Bridge, Dancing, Surfing, Design classes. Oh yeah, major lack in powers... But that's ok. There are other mysterious elements to keep you interested enough to move on to book #2.
review 2: This wasn't the greatest book I've ever read but it was funny and easy going. There wasn't a lot that the heroine Cesca couldn't handle with a little concentration but it was engaging enough and full of enough action that I didn't get bored while reading it. It also had an ending that left me curious but not excited about the next in the series. If I came across it
... morecheap or free I might give it a whirl. It gets a 3 out of 5, it's just too fluffy to get any more than that. less
