review 1: Nancy Herkness has written another fabulous, sensuous romance with Country Roads, her second installment in the Whisper Horse series. Her characters always steal my heart -- they seem to me like people I'd bump into at the local store. And the romance! This story has the added attraction of major cameos by Tim & Claire from TAKE ME HOME. Nancy is on my MUST BUY list - can't wait for her next one!
review 2: We'd heard of Julia Castillo in Take Me Home and now we get to know the mysterious artist. I enjoyed watching her overcome her vulnerability and grow stronger and independent, both as a woman and an artist. Paul is an admirable hero who put his life on hold to support his brother and nephew. He knows encouraging Julia to break free from her uncle will tak... moree her away from Sanctuary but he's the kind of guy who puts others first, which makes him very sexy in my eyes. I look forward to the next book in this series. less
